The Gateway Memorial Day Soccer Tournament Committee is
pleased to extend an invitation to you and your Soccer Team or Association
to compete in the 8th Annual Gateway Memorial Day Soccer Tournament. The
Tournament will provide you a wonderful way to spend the Memorial Day
Weekend in the beautiful Gateway District while "tuning-up" for the spring
soccer season playoffs.

2009 GATEWAY MEMORIAL DAY SOCCER TOURNAMENT PATCH
May 23, 24 & 25, 2009 Boys & Girls U9 & U10, & U12
& U14
(Division I, II, III, IV, Premier, Maple or Select teams)
Division I, II, III & IV teams will not be required to play Premier, Maple
and Select teams

$300.00 per team for U9 & U10; $400.00 per team for U12 & U14
Guaranteed minimum of 4 games in round-robin format; U12 & U14 will
advance to championship rounds; U9 & U10 will have recognition awards for
all players/teams. Years of experience hosting tournaments & travel league
playoffs. This is a patch tournament: it is a requirement that each team will
bring patches of sufficient number to exchange with players and coaches of
each opposing teams. Application and registration fees are due on or before
May 9, 2009.
ELIGIBILITY:
U-9: born after 8/1/99; U-10 born after 8/1/98
U-12: born after 8/1/96; U-14 born after 8/1/94
TEAM ROSTERS: The maximum number of players per team is 18 in U-12 & U-14
division: 14 players in U-9 & U-10 divisions. No player can be listed on
more than one team’s roster for the tournament. Guest players are allowed.
REGISTRATION CARDS: All players must be affiliated with and registered with
USYSA and/or MYSA. Each player must have a proper player pass. Cards will be
required and checked at registration.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Application and registration fees are due on or before
May 9, 2009. Checks should be made payable to the Gateway Memorial Day
Soccer Tournament. Rosters and medical/consent forms must be submitted prior
to tournament entry and play.
GAMES: Each team in U-12 & U-14 divisions will play a minimum of four (4)
games in round-robin format. Upon completion of preliminary matches teams
will then advance to the championship rounds. U-9 & U-10 teams will play a
minimum of four (4) games, recognition awards for all players will be given
